Shop Usability Award 2019

Store Usability Award 2019

The time has come: Shoplupe GmbH is once again organizing the Shop Usability Award this year. This prestigious prize is awarded to the most user-friendly online stores. Numerous JTL-Shop operators such as liebesschloss-factory.de and kivanta.de have already been among the lucky winners. To ensure that JTL-Shops once again land in the top places in 2019, we are providing 10 of you with free codes for the registration fee in the standard categories. Why is it worth taking part in the Shop Usability Award and how do you get one of the free codes? You can find out in the following article.

Briefly explained: The Shop Usability Award

The Shop Usability Award rightly bears the title “Most prestigious eCommerce award in Germany“: Shoplupe GmbH has been presenting the award to online stores that are considered best practice in eCommerce in terms of user experience since 2008. Speed, efficiency, design, comprehensibility and variety – all of these are the focus of the jury, which is always made up of high-caliber experts. So it’s no wonder that more than 700 stores apply for the trophy every year: Being among the winners is something of an accolade for your own online business. The strong media presence of the award also generates a lot of traffic and attention for the winners. Good marketing that you should also use for yourself and your store!

The new review system

In its 12th year, the organizers have fundamentally changed the review system of the award: Prior to the expert jury’s review, a wide audience of experts rates the submitted stores in the four categories of Design, Usability, Creativity and Storytelling – each on a scale of 1-10 points. Shoplupe has developed the UX Design Community for this purpose.

If you want to take part in this year’s Shop Usability Award, you must first register on this platform. The deadline for entries is August 31, 2019, and all eCommerce experts registered on the UX Design Community have until this date to rate the applicant stores. The highlight: every customer review submitted is visible. On the one hand, this creates more transparency and, on the other hand, you can implement the feedback directly in your store. The results of the community evaluation will then be presented to the expert jury for the final assessment on September 1, 2019.

You can find detailed information on how to win at the UX Design Community here.
