You can see all production components, including quantities and stock levels, at a glance – and recognize early on when material needs to be reordered. Create multiple production parts lists for each production item so that you can easily switch between different manufacturing processes.

Seamless warehouse connection

Keep an eye on your material stock at all times: Find the storage location of each production component in seconds via bar code scan, record item details such as lot number or best before date, pick production material mobile and route-optimized, book production items in or out via plus/minus booking, and create replenishment orders automatically to replenish stocks in good time.

Individual and series production

Switch flexibly between different production types, depending on whether you are producing individual items for customers, have to adhere to a precise schedule, want to carry out series production with MHD and batch items or want to produce unplanned; with the included ad hoc production, you can start immediately and book additional production types as required.

Ad hoc production

Produce spontaneously directly at the production site – without pre-planning or data from purchasing/sales, you select production parts lists, batch sizes and quantities during production and immediately bring your goods into the production flow.

Disposition production

Produce exactly according to requirements - for single or multiple customer orders or the seasonal quantity that is actually sold, thus avoiding overproduction or underproduction. The requirements are automatically merged from orders or procurement in merchandise management. You can adjust quantities and parts lists shortly before the production process.

Sales-order-related production

Produce items on time – quantities, work processes and timing are specified by the respective production order so that you can fulfill individual customer orders just-in-time and reliably meet delivery deadlines.

Document item conditions

Record conditions such as “New”, ”Used” or freely defined categories directly during production and adapt the logging precisely to your workflows.

Record, book and label the end product

At the end of production, enter all information including batches, define the storage location and print product labels directly in JTL Workbench – so you can get your goods ready for storage and delivery in one step.

FAQ - Further information on production with JTL software

JTL-Plan&Produce is integrated directly into JTL-Wawi as a production module. This means you can manage your production without installing any additional software. If you want to guide your employees step by step through the production process, you can optionally use the JTL Workbench assistance tool. This gives you the flexibility to decide whether you want to use JTL-Wawi alone for the setup of your manufacturing processes or also enable guided production.

With JTL Workbench, you can flexibly choose between three production types: ad-hoc, MRP or sales-order-related production. You can freely combine series and individual production and adjust the timing, quantity or batch size to the season, workload or customer requirements at any time.

Used components are automatically booked out of the warehouse during the production process. Stocks are updated in real time and batch and BBD information is recorded seamlessly.

JTL Plan&Produce is already included in the free JTL Edition Start – so you configure your production without a basic fee. For guided production on the touchscreen, you need a JTL Workbench license (from €125/month). This includes ad-hoc production as standard; optional production types can be added from €29/month. You can decide whether the free basic version is enough for you or whether you want to enable extended functions.

JTL-Plan&Produce in the JTL-Guide (DE)

JTL-Plan&Produce in JTL-Wawi can be used by any number of users at the same time. For production, you need JTL Workbench licenses: one per production station and per activated production type (ad-hoc, planning or sales-order-related production). The licenses are not personal – you only need as many as employees can work with the solution in parallel. Additional licenses for further production types can be flexibly added at any time and can be terminated with 14 days’ notice to the end of the month.
