Just like last year, we would like to provide you with some last-minute information about JTL Connect. Because in a week’s time, JTL Connect 2017, our event highlight of the year, will start. We also provide you with some reasons why a visit is worthwhile even for last-minute visitors.
The venue
Unlike before, this year’s venue is the Mitsubishi Electric HALLE in Düsseldorf. The new location offers us more space, both for visitors and exhibitors. We are making the best possible use of this space, as we are expecting up to 1,500 visitors this year, while 70 exhibitors will be presenting products and services on site. Thanks to the possibilities offered by the new hall, we have also decided to move the after-show party there. With the Volksgarten next door, a view of the greenery is guaranteed while we bring the day to a fitting close.
Our program
Visitors can expect a full program in the coming week. The PreConnect on the evening before the trade fair has already been sold out for weeks. On the 25th, Thomas Lisson’s keynote speech at 10 a.m. will be followed by a total of 30 further presentations. There will be something for every visitor, whether new sellers or eCommerce veterans, IT professionals or marketing enthusiasts.
Those who not only want to listen, but also actively participate, can talk to the exhibitors or almost 100 partners on site. Visitors with a penchant for the practical can look forward to the JTL-WMS live demo stand. Once again, we are giving you the opportunity to send trade fair and promotional gifts directly to your home using our professional warehousing – software you can touch.
From 18:30 we will end the official part of the fair and move on to drinks, music and relaxed conversations over a delicious BBQ.
The JTL Connect on Facebook
We will not be reporting live on Facebook this year. However, this does not mean that those staying at home will have to miss out completely on impressions of the trade fair on the day of the event itself. Throughout the day, we will be posting videos with impressions from the show floor as well as discussions and interviews with exhibitors and visitors. So it’s worth keeping an eye on our Facebook page if you want to get a taste of Connect from afar.

Speed dating
One week before the start of JTL Connect, the speed dating event is almost fully booked. We have made five candidates available for direct talks. At this point, only a few slots are still available with Patrick Janz, the Product Owner of the JTL-Fulfillment Network, which is still in the test phase. If you are interested in taking part or would like more information about the possibilities and benefits of the JTL-FFN, you may still be able to get one of the last slots for the one-on-one interviews.
If there are any open slots at short notice on the day of the fair, you can log in at the relevant stand. So if you haven’t got an appointment with your preferred candidate, ask again on site. Perhaps there has been a change at short notice, allowing you to take part in the speed dating after all.
Survey
Trade fair visitors have the opportunity to take part in a survey on satisfaction, current developments and JTL Connect itself. We would be delighted if as many of those present as possible took part in order to obtain particularly meaningful results. In return, participants have the chance to win non-cash prizes.
Tickets
With around 1,100 people already logged in, we are already looking forward to a full house. Online ticket sales will end next Wednesday, August 23 at around 5:00 pm. However, last-minute ticket buyers can purchase tickets at the box office on the day of the event, the price is 70 euros.
