That depends on the product. JTL-Wawi does not require any user licenses, so that any number of employees can work with the ERP. However, we also have products, such as JTL-WMS, which are licensed according to the number of simultaneous users. Good contact our sales department and let them determine individually for which products you need how many licenses.

If you run JTL-Wawi on your own server, you can create manual backups via our database administration. Backups can be automated using tools or Windows on-board resources. Since the creation and maintenance of valid backups is such an important topic, we recommend reading our article in the JTL-Guide. Our service partners can also help with the creation of backups.

If you are running JTL-Wawi hosting, the hosting provider usually takes care of regular backups. Check the service description or the contract of your hosting service provider.

JTL’s products are designed for trade in the D-A-CH region. For this reason, most products are currently only available in German. Translations exist for individual products, e.g. in English, Polish or Italian. Our products can also be used in other countries with individual adaptations and possibly a smaller range of functions. However, with regard to the necessary legal certainty, we recommend that you obtain information from the local authorities before using our products in other countries.

If you have technical problems that you can’t solve yourself, you can get help from our community in the JTL forum. Not only other JTL customers are active here, but also many of our developers, support staff and partners.

As a user of at least one JTL product requiring a license, you also receive competent email support via the ticket system. Callback service or telephone support are available via additional support tariffs. You can find a list here.

JTL enables an all-round solution for trading on multiple platforms, for example on Amazon and eBay, in your own online store or even in a store. As a new seller, you can set up a complete mail order business within a week. Many of our products are free of charge in the new sellers version or have a free test phase, so that you can first see whether JTL-Wawi & Co. suit you without any risk. The use of JTL products does not work with alternative databases. MS SQL under Windows is an exception here, but only with the versions that we have shared.

JTL-eazyAuction connects your JTL-Wawi with Amazon and eBay. With the help of solutions from some of our partners, you can also reach many other marketplaces. JTL is already working on its own solution for adding various online marketplaces.

No, I can work with my own category tree. However, the listings must be placed in the correct marketplace categories. JTL-Wawi knows the category structures of the marketplaces and offers the respective category trees automatically.

The advantage of JTL-Wawi is that you work with a standardized item master. This means that you only have to add the mandatory information from the marketplaces to your products for listing on other marketplaces. You use one interface for item listing and order processing and do not have to make a “virtual round trip” via all stores and marketplaces. This also makes it easier to train new employees.

For fast cross-platform listings, various functions such as mass processing in JTL-Wawi or mass creation of listings using JTL-DataTransfer are available to you.

JTL-Shop only works in conjunction with JTL-Wawi. The combination of store system and ERP gives you many advantages: central data management, synchronized stock availability, shipping notifications and payment confirmations. The central database also offers you maximum flexibility when using additional sales channels: With just a few clicks, you can place your range on marketplaces such as Amazon & eBay, in stationary retail or in any number of other online stores.

With JTL-Wawi you can operate any number of shops (whether JTL-Shop or third-party provider shop). This requires our MultiShop module, which makes it possible to integrate any number of online stores via a JTL-Wawi client.

We have developed JTL-Shop in such a way that even merchants without design or programming knowledge can quickly and easily set up their own online shop: With the help of OnPage Composer (available from JTL-Shop 5), you can design your shop pages conveniently in the front end and simply drag and drop content elements such as text, images, videos and much more to the desired location.

JTL-Shop also offers many default settings in the areas of search engine optimization (SEO) and legal security, which enable even beginners to successfully market their online shop online and operate it in a legally compliant manner.

JTL-DataTransfer is our template-based import/export tool and is included in every JTL-Wawi. With JTL-DataTransfer you can easily export data such as item information, customer information and monthly sales data for your tax advisor.

However, JTL-DataTransfer is even more important if you want to switch from another software system to JTL. With the help of our tool, you can migrate your data to JTL and use it – provided your previous ERP system offers the option to export. We have already compiled some how-tos for such migrations in our guide.

JTL-DataTransfer can theoretically be used to migrate all data and information that can also be entered manually in JTL-Wawi, e.g. all item information, customer data, order data and stock levels.

Automated price calculations are also possible using JTL-DataTransfer. And the DATEV-compliant export of accounting data is important for the monthly report to the tax consultant.

JTL-Packing Bench+ is sufficient for small and well-stocked warehouses. Our free add-on to JTL-Wawi helps you to create pick lists for your sales orders, collect the right items from your warehouse and pack them together at the packing station. As soon as your warehouse becomes larger and more “chaotic”, we recommend a more comprehensive warehouse management system such as JTL-WMS.

JTL-WMS offers you multidimensional storage bins, random warehousing with optimized routes, processing of returns, inventory, four shipping processes, commissioning with pick lists, partial delivery of sales orders and much more.

In this case, you can use the flexible shipping data export function in JTL-Wawi. After setting it up once, you automatically generate a CSV file containing all the data relevant for shipping. This file can be transferred online to the logistics provider, who will use it to create your shipping order and, if necessary, return the label and tracking ID.

You can offer any shipping method that is supported by your logistics provider. Whether cash on delivery, bulky goods, express or two-man handling. Services such as desired delivery date, age check, ban on neighborhood delivery and much more can also be easily set up and listed.
