JTL Group acquires ninepoint interfaces and strengthens multichannel offering

Hückelhoven, 3 February 2026 – The JTL Group is further expanding its multichannel ecosystem and acquiring the SCX/JTL-eazyAuction interfaces and the associated team from ninepoint software solutions GmbH. The aim of the acquisition is to provide marketplace connections directly via JTL in the future and enable retailers to manage their sales channels even more seamlessly and centrally.

With the acquisition, e-commerce marketplaces will be directly connected, operated, and further developed by JTL-Software in the future. Retailers will thus benefit from closer integration into the JTL product world, reduced technical complexity, and a clear bundling of contracts and cost structures.

With the integration of ninepoint’s marketplace technology, we are creating a significantly simpler, more centralized, and future-proof solution for our customers to sell via marketplaces,” says Sebastian Evers, Managing Director of JTL-Software-GmbH.

Greater efficiency for marketplace retailers

For existing JTL customers who use a marketplace connection via ninepoint, this step means one thing above all else: simplification. Instead of using several providers in parallel, retailers will in the future receive a more comprehensive end-to-end solution from a single source. Separate licensing models for marketplace plugins will no longer be necessary. Going forward, the plugins will be covered by the JTL order packages.

JTL is also focusing on continuity from a technical perspective: The team previously responsible for the development, operation, and technical support of the interface will be transferred to the JTL organization. They will stay responsible for the technical support, maintenance, and further development of the existing integrations.

Scalable basis for new marketplaces

With the acquired technology, JTL is also laying the foundation for connecting new marketplaces more quickly and flexibly in the future. This allows retailers to quickly benefit from additional sales channels without facing new technical hurdles or additional contractual partners.

The transfer of the relevant contracts to JTL-Software-GmbH will take place in stages. Customers and partners will be kept informed about all relevant steps in a transparent manner.

With the integration of ninepoint marketplace technology, JTL is continuing its growth course and strengthening its position as the central multichannel platform for eCommerce in German-speaking countries and beyond.
