JTL acquires Bringly and introduces intelligent, data-driven shipping functions

Hückelhoven, August 26, 2025 – JTL-Software-GmbH has acquired Dutch shipping technology provider Bringly, taking another step towards more data-driven and intelligent logistics in Europe. By integrating Bringly’s shipping processing and intelligence tools into JTL-Shipping, retailers gain more control and flexibility in managing and optimizing their shipping processes.

With Bringly, JTL-Shipping is expanding its offering from pure execution to intelligent control. Based on the needs and challenges of retailers, new modular tools are being introduced, including: smarter multi-carrier processing, AI-powered shipping information and recommendations, a customisable post-purchase notification tool, and optimised complaint and issue management.

The integration of smart tools enables JTL retailers to anticipate disruptions such as delivery delays, compare shipping methods and services in real time, and automatically assign shipments in a multi-carrier setup according to criteria such as cost, speed or sustainability. For example, the system can identify underperforming routes, recommend more environmentally friendly shipping options, or reduce the number of failed deliveries through better customer communication.

As part of the new JTL platform, Bringly will be available as a standalone app in the future – seamlessly integrated into JTL’s core platform. This will allow retailers to use these advanced features in an uncomplicated and scalable way.

Synergies for efficiency and customer experience

At the same time, the acquisition contributes to JTL’s long-term vision of creating a holistic e-commerce ecosystem in which retailers can centrally map their end-to-end processes – from merchandise management and shipping to customer communication. JTL is thus the central point of contact for digitalization in eCommerce.
