A worthwhile connection: JTL-Connectors are now available free of charge

Hückelhoven, June 20, 2016 – Modern online store software combined with a powerful ERP system – nice, but expensive? The eCommerce professionals at JTL-Software-GmbH prove the opposite. From now on, customers have free access to the flexible JTL-Connectors. Previously, users had to pay a fee to integrate their third-party provider’s shop solution with the free JTL-Wawi ERP system. By switching to a freely accessible model, the company is offering customers a comprehensive package of ERP and integration with their existing online store for free.

Changes to license and support models

The latest generation of JTL-Connectors offers customers the option of connecting numerous popular store systems, including Shopware, Gambio, OXID and PrestaShop, to JTL-Wawi. This then forms the inventory management system, meaning that many of the store functions can be controlled centrally from the ERP. Users of this efficient combination not only benefit from centralized management and control of their inventory, but also avoid many isolated solutions and thus save valuable working time.

The new license model brings further changes. JTL will no longer provide direct support for the connectors. In future, this task will be taken over by the Hückelhoven-based company’s service partners. They can also support customers in adapting the connectors to plugins for the store software used. Existing licensees can also fall back on JTL contacts until their license contract expires. However, the end of support does not mean that the connectors will play a subordinate role from now on. Instead, the online retail experts will continue to develop them in the future.
