JTL wins awards: Two-time champion in the “Online Shop Solutions” and “Multichannel Solutions” categories

We could hardly be prouder: In this year’s “Professional User Rating: Digital Solutions” from the analysts at techconsult, JTL achieved a champion ranking in two categories. Read all about the award and our distinction in the “Multichannel Solution” and “Online Shop Solution” categories in the following article.

The evaluation procedure

techconsult GmbH has been one of the leading research and analyst firms in Germany for over 25 years and conducts the “Professional User Rating: Digital Solutions” (PUR DS) once a year. This year, around 1,500 German-speaking users reviewed the providers of digital solutions in the following categories:

  • Online store solution
  • Multichannel solution
  • Customer experience solution
  • Project management tools
  • File sharing tools
  • Collaboration Tools

The customer review was carried out in the two dimensions “Company Rating” (manufacturer rating) and “Solution Rating” (performance rating) with 67 criteria in 14 subcategories.

There were more than 180 providers on the longlist – across all solution areas. Of course, we are all the more pleased that we came 4th in the “Multichannel solution” category with JTL-Wawi and even came 3rd in the “Online store solution” category.

The representation in the diamond

The providers are shown in a so-called diamond based on their position in the rating. This is a two-dimensional chart that is at the top. The higher a provider is rated, the higher its position in the diamond.
A prerequisite for inclusion in such a diamond is to stand out in both dimensions. The left-hand dimension “Solution Rating” relates to aspects concerning the company and its positioning in the market, while the second dimension “Company Rating” focuses on aspects relating to the solution itself. A placement close to the vertical axis corresponds to a rather balanced customer review of both dimensions.

JTL convinces in solution and provider evaluation

JTL was convincing in both dimensions. The analysts at techconsult have summarized our individual evaluation results in a consistently positive report. In the “Solution Rating” section, it says about JTL:

“[…] as far as the solution-specific functions are concerned, JTL leaves hardly anything to be desired and fulfills the requirements of the users. For online store solutions in particular, this applies to product presentations, inventory tracking, cross-selling options and interfaces to payment providers and shipping companies. […] Users are convinced that using JTL’s eCommerce solutions not only helps to improve customer satisfaction, increase customer loyalty and boost sales, but also to present themselves as a customer-oriented company. Good customer reviews are also reflected in product loyalty, with the majority of users surveyed recommending the solutions to others without reservation.”

In the “Company Rating” section, techconsult summarizes JTL’s results as follows:

“[…] Not only is JTL’s corporate culture seen as very innovative, JTL’s products and solutions are not lacking in innovative ideas either. […] JTL also achieves excellent results in the area of service and support. The index includes user satisfaction with the hotline and the availability of service partners. In addition, the service staff also impresses with its competence, providing users with advice and assistance in the event of difficulties and solving problems quickly.”
