Those of you who manage many incoming payments and refunds on a daily basis will be familiar with the amount of work involved. Our payment module is designed to simplify these processes for you. I’ll introduce you to how it works and the benefits in the following blog post. I’m also pleased to announce a special promotion with Amazon Pay that allows you to use the payment module free of charge for 12 months.
The payment module briefly explained
Our add-on for JTL-Wawi, which requires a license, allows you to easily import incoming payments from bank accounts or other payment providers into your ERP. From there, you can then send them to your customers or suppliers without having to use any other services or applications from your financial institution.
If you receive a payment after this integration, it is immediately recorded via the payment reconciliation in JTL-Wawi and you can assign it directly to the appropriate sales order. This not only makes your entire order processing more resource-efficient, it also means that shipping can be triggered more quickly.
Of course, the payment module can also be used to manage returns or refunds for your customers.
New features since JTL-Wawi 1.5
The release of JTL-Wawi 1.5 coincided exactly with the PSD2 Payment Services Directive, which came into force on September 14, 2019. Our main priority was therefore to prepare our payment module in such a way that it complies 100% with the legal requirements. But that’s not all: since version 1.5, you can now also connect accounts via XS2A (also known as Access to Account). This expands the range of banks and payment providers you can connect, so you hardly have to worry about compatibility with the payment module.
With JTL-Wawi version 1.5.13.0, we have once again added numerous new functions to the payment module. Since then, not only banks from Germany, Austria and Switzerland that support the HBCI or FinTS standard can be integrated. You can now also link your accounts with other popular payment providers, such as Amazon Pay or PayPal, to JTL-Wawi via the payment module.

How to use the payment module - the technical basics
The payment module is a fee-based add-on module for JTL-Wawi. The basic prerequisite for smooth use of all functions is therefore that you have installed our current ERP version 1.5.14.1 or higher. You can then purchase either a monthly or annual license via our JTL-Store, with which you can address any number of accounts with an HBCI/FinTS standard as well as those of other payment providers such as Amazon Pay within one client in JTL-Wawi.
30-day trial period for the payment module
Would you like to put our payment module through its paces before you decide to purchase one of the two license models? You can easily activate a 30-day test phase via your JTL customer account, during which you can convince yourself of the many advantages of our JTL-Wawi add-on module. By the way: Your trial license expires automatically without you having to actively cancel. So you retain the best possible control at this point too!
Amazon Pay promotion: Use the payment module free of charge for 1 year

How you can also benefit as an existing payment module user
If you are already using the payment module with an annual license, you can still take part in our promotion with Amazon Pay: We will extend the remaining time of your activated license by the free 12 months from the day you purchased it.
If you have booked the payment module with a monthly license, we will convert it to the annual license at the next possible date, which you can then use free of charge for 12 months through our promotion.
