JTL-Wawi 1.5 Stable-Version

JTL-Wawi 1.5 has been released as a stable version

The wait for the stable version of JTL-Wawi 1.5 is over: Just a few weeks after the release candidate, we are delivering JTL-Wawi 1.5 to our wide customer base today. Despite the short time between RC and stable version, some changes have been made to the content. We summarize once again what JTL-Wawi 1.5 contains and introduce you to the latest innovations.

Known features from JTL-Wawi 1.5 RC

The release candidate brought lots of features for selling on the two major marketplaces Amazon and eBay as well as for payment reconciliation. Here is a reminder of what has been available to the “early birds” among our customers since mid-August:

Amazon Custom

With JTL-Wawi 1.5, retailers have the option of selling personalized products on Amazon – the information stored by the customer when ordering is now available in the ERP.

Amazon conformity settings

As of version 1.5, JTL-Wawi displays so-called conformity queries from Amazon. In other words, whether a product is hazardous goods or contains batteries. Applications can now set corresponding attributes for such products for sale on Amazon.

Amazon IDU

In version 1.5 we support the Invoice Document Uploader (IDU) from Amazon. This means that the ERP uploads the invoice or any refund as a PDF to the marketplace for every sales order from Amazon.

eBay order import

As of JTL-Wawi 1.5, the eBay order import has a new, optimized code base and a revised user interface.

JTL-Fulfillment Network

Version 1.5 meets all the technical requirements for the next iteration of the JTL-Fulfillment Network, which we recently launched in open beta. You can find out more about the new JTL-Fulfillment Network here.

Further new features in JTL-Wawi 1.5 Stable

The special feature of the new stable version of JTL-Wawi 1.5 is that it adds further elements to the previous release candidate:

Payment reconciliation in accordance with the PSD2 directive

Customers of the JTL payment module should already know: The new PSD2 payment services directive has been in force since September 14, 2019. According to this, payment reconciliations via HBCI/FinTS must use strong customer authentication. JTL-Wawi 1.5 is fully compliant.

As if that wasn’t enough, the new version also allows the integration of accounts via XS2A or Access to Account. This also allows us to implement credit cards and banks that use XS2A in the payment reconciliation. The function of the JTL payment module is thus extended.

JTL-WMS

As usual with our JTL-Wawi updates, we have once again worked on our JTL-WMS warehousing software. On the one hand, interfaces for network scales are now available in both JTL-WMS and JTL-Packing Bench+. The Rhewa 82c2 scale is already integrated, and more will follow in the future.

Our companion app JTL-WMS Mobile now offers a two-step goods receipt. You define your standard goods receipt location and can distribute the goods to the corresponding storage bins in the second step. This allows warehouse workers to quickly record stock levels with their mobile device and make the goods available for sale just as quickly.

More detailed information is available on our landing page for JTL-Wawi 1.5. As usual, you can find a concrete list of all other technical changes in the changelog of the current version. Curious users will find many other fine-tuning and bug-fixing elements that are also included in the release. In addition, we also provide you with a showcase video for the release of JTL-Wawi 1.5, which captures all the advantages of the new ERP in sound and vision:
