Shoplupe GmbH is once again organizing the Shop Usability Award (SUA) in 2017. A jury of experts will select the online stores that offer customers the best shopping experience. In the past, two of our customers have already taken home the coveted eCommerce trophy – Gastro24.de and Click-licht.de. As we would like to build on this success this year, we need your support.
The price in detail
This year marks the tenth year of the Shop Usability Award. With over 500 entries each year, t3n has even named it Germany’s most prestigious eCommerce award. The aim of the award is to promote user-friendliness among online stores. To achieve this, the jury certifies that the winners in the 12 categories and 5 special categories set standards in innovative and convenient customer guidance during the shopping experience.
The operators introduced a new evaluation principle last year. The focus is on general attractiveness, pragmatic, hedonic and service quality. In concrete terms, this means that you will be evaluated according to criteria such as speed, efficiency, comprehensibility, but also design and variety. Test orders serve as the basis for checking all test criteria. In this way, Shoplupe wants to ensure that the prize is actually awarded to retailers who offer the most authentic shopping experience possible in addition to usability standards.

We are looking for your most user-friendly store
To prove once again that JTL-Shop can fulfill these requirements, we need your help. Submit your store, apply and show the industry that you take the best possible care of your customers. On this page you will find information about the application criteria and here the individual categories.
All that is needed now is confidence in your store and your ability to give your customers what they want – at product and shopping level. As we are of course interested in another JTL-Shop receiving the award, we are supporting participants who use our product, as we have done in previous years. If you log in via our application form below, we will select what we consider to be the 20 most promising stores from all the entries. These shops will then have the opportunity to save the registration fee – if you are nominated by us, we will cover these costs.
Still undecided? Then see participation, nomination and hopefully an award as valuable marketing for your online store. After all, a renowned seal of user-friendliness is a great way to advertise. Nominees and winners also benefit from additional publicity through media reports and the award page itself.
The closing date for applications for the SUA this year is April 30, 2017, and the award ceremony itself will take place at K5 in Berlin.
