Wolfgang Hilpert becomes new CPTO at JTL-Software

Wolfgang Hilpert joins the Managing Directors of JTL-Software as the new CPTO.

Hückelhoven, January 10, 2024 – JTL-Software-GmbH (JTL) is expanding its Managing Director with the addition of Wolfgang Hilpert as the new Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO). In doing so, JTL’s top management is primarily gaining specialist support in the product and technology area and continuing its growth course.

JTL, a leading provider of eCommerce software in German-speaking countries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Wolfgang Hilpert as CPTO. This strategic personnel decision is a further step in the company’s expansion plans.

Driving technological excellence and innovation

As Chief Product & Technology Officer, Wolfgang Hilpert will play a key role in the design and implementation of JTL’s product strategy and its technological implementation. Among other things, he will be responsible for the further development and operation of the software products, the optimization of technological processes and the promotion of innovations. With his extensive experience, he will help to further strengthen the technological excellence of JTL software in the area of eCommerce and multichannel commerce and align the company to future challenges and expansion.

Sound management experience in the tech industry

Wolfgang Hilpert has many years of experience in managing technology and software companies. Before joining JTL, he was Chief Technology Officer and member of the Management Board at Market Logic Software AG, a global market leader in the insights engagement industry. Prior to that, he held management positions at renowned companies such as HERE Technologies, Sophos, AGT International, SAP, Microsoft and IBM. His experience spans various leadership roles in product management and leading product and technology development organizations. He has also gained experience in building agile organizations. His diverse professional background provides an ideal foundation for his new role as CPTO at JTL.
