Release JTL-Wawi 1.8: JTL expands its multifunctional marketplace interface

>The new version of the free ERP system JTL-Wawi now offers retailers even more options for their multichannel retail with flexible and open integration.

Hückelhoven, November 07, 2023 – JTL-Software GmbH today releases JTL-Wawi 1.8, a new version of its free ERP with numerous enhancements in the integrated JTL-eazyAuction marketplace interface. With the new range of functions, the leading ERP provider is opening up even more possibilities, especially for retailers who offer their products on multiple sales channels and manage their business centrally. At the same time, the software company is promoting the networking and opening up of eCommerce systems within the industry.

Integrations to numerous marketplaces available as of JTL-Wawi 1.8

In addition to Amazon and eBay, Kaufland (Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic), MediaMarktSaturn, Otto.de and voelkner can now also be connected natively in JTL-eazyAuction – the marketplace interface of the JTL-Wawi ERP system. In addition, retailers can also use integrations with Conrad (open beta) and Cdiscount (closed beta). This means that the new version of the JTL-Wawi ERP system includes other important marketplace players. JTL will continuously expand the interface to offer users maximum flexibility in the increasingly important marketplace business.

SCX interface sets standards for system openness

Larger or specialized companies, which often prefer custom solutions, can use the multifunctional and open interface to integrate marketplaces of their choice into the ERP independently or with the help of specialized JTL service partners. This is made possible by an intelligent REST API, the so-called Sales Channel Extension (SCX-API). It forms the technical basis for a generalized connection process. The open interface is freely available together with the associated developer documentation and a software development kit (SDK). In addition to the extensive expansion and opening of the marketplace connection, users also benefit from simplified workflows, modernized update processes and standardized usability.

Centralized and networked sales management

With the stable release of JTL-Wawi 1.8, the software provider JTL is laying a further foundation stone for the increased opening and networking of its systems. This is a core requirement for companies to be able to grow and scale successfully despite increasing complexity. “Retailers have to become increasingly diverse in terms of their sales channels. From online stores to retail and marketplace retail, they need to keep an eye on everything. In addition, the new version of the JTL-Wawi ERP system supports retailers with new automation functions in essential areas such as purchasing, sales and order management. JTL has also implemented optimizations in the JTL-Wawi app. The free mobile application includes all the core functions of the desktop ERP and is available for both Android and iOS users. It was primarily designed for field service, as an ERP system “on the go”.
