Release JTL-Wawi 1.7: JTL expands its solution portfolio once again

With the release of version 1.7 of its ERP system, the company is also releasing the production tool JTL-Plan&Produce and the mobile ERP JTL-Wawi app.

Hückelhoven, March 01, 2023 – With JTL-Wawi 1.7, JTL-Software-GmbH is releasing two further solutions for the commerce industry in addition to innovations within its free ERP. The development company is thus once again positioning itself as an all-round provider of software for all areas of commerce. The production tool JTL-Plan&Produce enables retailers to plan their production and finishing efficiently and holistically. The JTL-Wawi app provides existing JTL customers with a much more flexible user experience, as they can use the mobile application to access their JTL-Wawi ERP data from anywhere and use its core functions.

Supporting software for the manufacturing trade

The planning module JTL-Plan&Produce is tailored to the needs of companies that are active in production and finishing. They can use the solution to manage and implement their entire production processes. As an area within the ERP JTL-Wawi – the centerpiece of JTL’s product range – retailers use the new solution to prepare their production and coordinate processes related to manufacturing. JTL-Plan&Produce also includes the JTL-Workbench assistance system. The Application enables guided production based on instructions and visual aids that users create beforehand in the planning module. JTL Workbench then supports the workshop staff at every step of production, reducing errors and optimizing and accelerating production at the same time.

JTL Plan&Produce can be used for a variety of industries

The Application is designed for the refinement and production of various areas and maps both individual production and series production, as Marc Völker, Product Owner for JTL Plan&Produce, explains: “Our production tool can be used to map a wide variety of manufacturing processes, including food supplements, spices, but also more complex products such as components for cars or bicycles.”

With the release of version 1.7 of the ERP system, the JTL-Wawi app is also available as a stable version for Android and Apple devices. Users can access the data of their desktop ERP system via smartphone and use its core functions. An individually configurable dashboard provides an overview of current business developments and graphics. The app can also be used to view, edit and create customer data, sales orders and listings. Users can check their order history on the go and view item details. Last but not least, the app can also be used to use the smartphone camera to create item images and as a bar code scanner.

Community-driven development right from the start

In the development of JTL-Wawi 1.7, the Hückelhoven-based developer has once again consistently pursued the approach of community-driven development, as one of the JTL founders explains: “We have remained true to our principle and have implemented many feature and improvement requests from the community. With JTL-Plan&Produce and the JTL-Wawi app, we offer our customers completely new possibilities and maximum flexibility for their trade.”
