JTL Vouchers: Versatile functions for selling, managing and networking vouchers

Hückelhoven, September 20, 2021 – Today, JTL-Software-GmbH (JTL) is releasing JTL-Vouchers, a new voucher management solution. Unlike many native voucher management systems, however, the solution comes with its own online portal. On the one hand, merchants can keep an eye on their sales development here, while on the other, it also offers users of non-JTL retail software the use of vouchers. JTL Vouchers functions as an “open system” that can also be used by third-party systems via the REST API.

REST API makes use possible even without JTL products

Since the launch of its JTL-Fulfillment Network at the beginning of 2021, the Hückelhoven-based software company has been pursuing the agenda of making its solutions usable for everyone. That is why they have also developed JTL Vouchers in such a way that the entire voucher management works without the use of JTL products. This is because the specially developed open interface allows retailers to use it with external ERP, online store and POS systems. This means that anyone who was previously missing voucher options in their own systems can use this solution with a little technical effort. The switch from the previous voucher system to JTL Vouchers is also well thought out: retailers can continue to use existing voucher cards. They transfer the data to JTL Vouchers via CSV import. The new solution also scores points when different store systems are used simultaneously. This is because JTL Vouchers can be used as a control system across different systems in order to achieve uniform voucher control.

JTL Vouchers Portal simplifies voucher management for merchants

In order to map this, JTL Vouchers must be capable of more than just comprehensive functions for creating, selling and redeeming vouchers. The core of the product is therefore a clear administration instance: the aforementioned JTL Vouchers portal. This is where users define individual settings such as validity periods and areas of validity for individual voucher groups. In addition, all vouchers created, sold and redeemed are listed in the portal, so that the user’s own sales development can be tracked seamlessly and used to improve their own business.
At the same time, the JTL Vouchers Portal can be used to flexibly create vouchers as single-purpose or multi-purpose vouchers in order to automatically and correctly pay the sales tax for differently taxed product groups.
