Senior Software developer (w/m/d) GREYHOUND

Your tasks

GREYHOUND is part of the JTL Group and develops powerful solutions for customer service and document management – with a focus on around 1,000 B2C eCommerce customers. Our current tech stack includes Delphi 12 in the GREYHOUND server, React in the web client and PHP 8.x for the customer center around booking and hosting management.
In a dedicated team of 7 people, we work passionately to further develop GREYHOUND technologically and position it even more strongly in our target markets – with the aim of inspiring existing JTL customers and taking customer service to the next level.

• You will work on the further development of the GREYHOUND Server, a modern SaaS solution for customer service and document management, which is operated and managed fully automatically.
• You take responsibility for stable, performant and maintainable Delphi components (Delphi 12) in a technically excellent code base.
• You will develop new features that further strengthen our positioning in the area of customer service and document management – e.g. in the areas of telephony integration, AI functions, workflows or archiving.
• You will work closely with other developers and product management to design architecturally clean and future-proof solutions.
• You will accompany the replacement of the current customer center as part of a replatforming project and support minor adjustments (e.g. to sales products, hosting provisioning or cloud transformation).
• You work independently and in a solution-oriented manner in a small, powerful team with flat hierarchies and plenty of creative freedom.

What you need to bring with you

• Ideally, you already have experience in the eCommerce industry or are very interested in it.
• You have sound professional experience as a developer, as well as experience in the common programming languages C#, Java, Python, Delphi and PHP 8.X.
• Ideally, you have experience in the development of complex systems with Delphi.
• You are interested in new technologies and topics such as AI, cloud, microservices or integrations in the customer service context.
• You like to work independently and responsibly without losing sight of the team concept.
• You are willing to work 1-2 times a week at our location in Melle.
• You have a very good command of German (at least C1) and a good command of written and spoken English.
