We have been a manufacturer of professional cleaning products for over 90 years. In 2012, we were given the opportunity to take over the online store wisch-star.de from a customer.
Due to my studies in business informatics, we are very aware of the potential in future online retail and take advantage of the listing. The solutions already available from JTL, back then with JTL-Shop3, surprised us positively – even if some important functions for our project were still missing at the time.
Implementation of missing functions in JTL-Shop3
We decide on a complete relaunch with a new design and find a competent partner agency in Solution360. An individual store design is particularly important to us, far removed from any standard layouts. Equally important to us is the implementation of extended functions, such as direct purchase from the item list or the display of shipping costs in the mini shopping cart.
Customer item prices give us new scope
By switching to JTL-Shop 4 and installing additional shop functions, we were able to significantly increase our sales. The more recent updates to JTL-Shop and JTL-Wawi – in particular the introduction of individual customer item prices and the continuous further development of JTL-Shipping – have brought us a decisive step forward.
We would recommend JTL-Shop at any time, as it offers decisive advantages in combination with JTL-Wawi. JTL-Wawi is free and an almost fully-fledged ERP system. For us as a manufacturer and Company with now broad-based stationary sales channels, it is not the optimal solution – but we would recommend it to any company that wants to gain a foothold in the online segment.
