Our project has already won awards before the first item has even been sold. A Magento store is actually planned, but things turn out differently.

As part of a start-up seminar at the University of Oldenburg and various successful participations in competitions and crowdfunding projects, we founded Vekoop at the beginning of 2013. One of the main prizes was the creation of a high-performance Magento store by a participating agency. However, the agency went bankrupt a short time later and we had to fundamentally rethink the planning and implementation of our online store – fortunately for us.

MHD support and an allergy filter are the deciding factors

After thorough market research, we decided on the combination of JTL Shop and JTL Wawi. The decisive feature for us is that JTL-Wawi – at that time virtually the only system – can handle BBDs and batches properly. A must-have for us as a food retailer. In addition, we wanted to implement a new type of “allergy filter” in the store. The highly differentiated feature and filter system of JTL-Shop convinced us.

Workflows and JTL shipping: the boosters in day-to-day business

JTL-Wawi’s workflows are a particular relief for us, as they allow us to run many processes automatically. Manual interventions in queries regarding various shipping settings have been reduced to a minimum. The same applies to the use of JTL ShippingLabels within merchandise management. Time savings and significantly fewer shipping errors compared to the previous use of Intraship or Easylog. Compliments, we look forward to the next few years with you!
