Saemereien.ch was launched in 2008 as one of the first Swiss online seed stores. In 2016, I took over Shop & System and am now continuously and consistently expanding the range and usability of the JTL-Shop.
Today, Saemereien.ch has the largest range of seeds in Switzerland. The efforts have paid off. In May 2018, our store achieved 2nd place in the main category “Home & Living” at the Digital Commerce Award in Switzerland. Above all, this success was made possible by the great expertise and close cooperation with our German partner agency Solution360.
Clear objectives and a focus on the customer
Our project, the relaunch of the store, aims to optimally serve customer wishes and current industry trends. By creating theme worlds (organic, old varieties, suitable for pots) and helpful online tools such as sowing, flowering and harvesting calendars, the search for suitable products is considerably simplified. In addition, our customers are well supported by respective filters at category level.
To implement these powerful search and filter functions, we maintain over 80,000 product features within a short space of time. Supplementary programming by Solution360 guarantees smooth performance. Almost 200 attractively painted illustrations ensure a high recognition value and have a lasting positive influence on the customer journey of our visitors.
Always looking ahead ...
The measures mentioned and the smooth and reliable interaction of JTL-Shop and JTL-Wawi before and after have given us a significant boost: Significant growth in sales and turnover, a better conversion rate and reduced Google AdWords costs.
We will continue to expand our listing and extend it to include seed-related products. A move to new premises is planned. With a showroom, we would like to invite you to experience the full splendor and width of our range up close. The opening of inspiring pop-up stores also fits in with our concept. JTL’s solutions will continue to offer us every opportunity in the future.
