Pflanzkuebel-direkt.de has been online since 2014. Sustained growth and increasing shipping figures put our warehouse processes in particular to the test from 2018. We switched completely to JTL in 2019.

With over 4,500 square meters of office and warehouse space, we enter the e-commerce market as a purely online player. Due to demand, we set up our warehouse outlet just one year later. The growing parcel volume and our aim to ship every order within 24 hours make it necessary to realign our processes, particularly in the areas of warehousing and shipping, in order to remain competitive.

Map all relevant business processes in one software

We tested several options. JTL convinced us. The software offers solutions “from a single source” for all relevant business processes. Our previous design with Shopware and actindo can no longer meet the increased requirements.

From customer orders to shipping administration, we now have access to perfectly coordinated JTL solutions and can rely on optimal technical interaction between the individual applications. Since February 2019, all processes and presences have been running with JTL software.

30% process acceleration thanks to JTL WMS and automations

The switch to JTL is being carried out in close cooperation with OBME GmbH, a certified JTL service partner. We benefit from OBME’s extensive expertise, particularly in the introduction and implementation of JTL WMS and the migration of existing data into the JTL cosmos, in order to achieve our goals.

Shortly after the changeover, our shipping process accelerated by around 30%. With JTL-WMS Mobile, mobile hardware ensures transparent inventory management and simplifies all warehouse tasks in the long term – from goods receipt to goods issue.

We would like to recommend newcomers and those switching to JTL WMS to completely detach themselves from existing processes and procedures and to completely adapt the workflow from JTL WMS. The warehouse management system is so well thought out that an optimal solution for processing can be found for practically every process.
