A sports accident forces me into hospital. I develop my first online store. The first shipments show me that the quality and individuality of shipping packaging are extremely important and are also in high demand from other retailers. My idea takes shape – the Packaging King is born in 2008.

Success and a growing turnover of goods require more efficient mapping of goods movements. I quickly came across the software solutions from JTL. The ease of use and the excellent interaction between JTL-Wawi and JTL-Shop convinced me. Added to this is the seamless integration of eBay into the merchandise management system with JTL-eazyAuction. There is an increasing demand for packaging solutions with dimensions that deviate from the standard dimensions.

The logical consequence for us was the introduction of JTL-WMS in 2014. As before, the JTL service partner rshost.eu is there to help us with advice and support. The combination of JTL-WMS, mobile data collection and JTL-Packing Bench+ helps us not only to make our outgoing goods processes more efficient, but also to professionally map incoming goods. With over 100,000 items in our online store, we attach particular importance to this.

Carton finder - reach your destination faster thanks to article features

We need a way to quickly find desired products in the JTL-Shop. The carton finder is our solution. Characteristics created in our items are the basis for a carton search with tolerance information. This saves a long search in the categories. The JTL-DataTransfer import and export tool integrated in JTL-Wawi is an enormous relief for us when maintaining articles.

We also offer our customers the individualization of some packaging materials. A simple file upload via the JTL-Shop upload module sends us the desired motif. We produce most of the individualized items ourselves. In this respect, we are already very excited about the possibilities that will be available to us in the future with JTL Plan&Produce. We are aiming to map production and individualization in a multi-stage production process.
