Three anglers – three founders: we will start in 2015 our Karpfenhans project. All of them already have a little eCommerce background.

The big question at the beginning was: which system would enable us to meet all of our requirements and scale the company’s future success? As we wanted to sell our boilies and other fishing lures in a multi-channel system and, as a start-up, shy away from risky investments, our choice quickly fell on the JTL product family.

Special requirements

Our business concept is not only geared towards traditional retail – we also manufacture many items ourselves. That is why it is important for us to work with parts lists so that we can sell raw materials and finished products at the same time. As we serve a very specific customer group – larger fishing clubs, for example – whose orders are comparatively heavy and large when shipped, smart warehousing and fast shipping processing are of great importance to us. The JTL-Packing Bench+ provides us with great services here and ensures almost error-free shipments and satisfied customers.

Adjustments and outlook

JTL-Wawi allows us to expand our business with incredible flexibility. Individual customizations, such as the design of the pick lists, make it possible for us to work very effectively with the merchandise management system, even in special cases. We are also very satisfied with the possibilities in the JTL-Shop: We are currently planning an extensive configurator with which the customer can put together their end product individually and have it produced by us on request.
