New info world from JTL: Website, Store & more

You may have already noticed at one point or another: JTL’s communication and design have gradually changed over the last few months. Today we can finally present what we have been secretly working on. In order to provide you with even better up-to-date information, we have redesigned several of our platforms in terms of technology, content and appearance. The JTL website and JTL-Store have been fundamentally restructured, supplemented with a wealth of valuable information for online retailers and given a new design. A new demo shop has been implemented and the JTL-Customer Centre also has a new look. We are also currently working on optimizing our purchasing processes. Today’s relaunch is just phase 1 of a multi-stage project.

First things first: new login processes

From now on, you can log in to many JTL platforms with one central login. This means: No more different access data for JTL-Store and JTL-Customer Centre. If you already have access to the JTL-Customer Centre, you can now also use this data to log in to the JTL-Store.

In the long term, many other JTL platforms should also be accessible with the central login, e.g. the JTL-Issue Tracker and the JTL-Fulfillment Network.

It is not yet possible to log in to JTL Connect via the central login. The purchase of tickets for JTL-Connect will not move to the new store until our next in-house exhibition.


JTL-Store: Buy products from JTL

Bringing more order to the purchasing processes: That was one of our most important goals when planning the website and store. Today’s release brings us one step closer to our goal. All our products are now centrally visible in the JTL-Store – from our core product JTL-Wawi to all extensions and our range of services.

The purchase locations remain the same in this step. You can purchase products with one-off payments, such as our JTL-Shop online shop software or our training courses, directly in the JTL-Store. Products such as monthly licenses, e.g. our marketplace integration JTL-eazyAuction, which are billed monthly by direct debit, can still be purchased in the JTL-Customer Centre.

When we start phase 2 of the project in the coming months, the acquisition locations will be merged step by step. However, it will still take a while before we reach our goal.

What advantages does the new JTL-Store offer?

The JTL-Store offers you a clear overview of all our products. The navigation is very user-friendly thanks to new feature filters. This is because we want you to understand directly which of our products are connected and how – and which services we can use to make it easier for you to get started or switch to our products, for example.

Meaningful price tables help you to compare several tariffs for an item. In detailed buying guides, we support you with the first steps from purchase to setup. Links to the JTL-Guide and our video tutorials are also included.

New marketplace with extensions from partners

Our marketplace has moved from the website to the store. Extensions and templates from our partners are presented here in a clear and appealing way. So you can see at a glance how you can add special functions to our products.

The new store is not yet implemented in the back end of JTL-Shop. You can still find our previous marketplace there. In the coming months, we will also make adjustments here step by step.

JTL website: Product information for new sellers, converts & powersellers

However, the classic entry point for our customers is not via the store, but via our central communication platform: the JTL website. That’s why we put so much passion into this project.

Supporting retailers in their starting position

On our website, we address three groups of online and mail order retailers: new sellers, new sellers and powersellers. Why this distinction? We have found that you retailers come to us with very different mindsets – and therefore need different information. Some of you want to take your first steps in online business as easily as possible. Others are worried about migrating their data when making the switch. And retailers with a growing business want to automate processes and reduce their process costs.

All this is possible with our software. But how? We’ll show you on our product pages and in the newly created Start with JTL section. We offer you very specific advice, no matter which of these target groups you belong to.

Demo for JTL-Shop

Last but not least, we have set up a demo shop. At Black Bike Forest, you can see how an entry-level customer could design their online store with our software.

Our demo shop is all about cycling. Numerous JTL-Shop functions are used here. Browse through our functional examples and see for yourself how you can offer your customers a great shopping experience. The functions of JTL-Shop are presented as individual items. So you don’t just read about the feature, but see directly how it is displayed in the store.
