From JTL-Wawi 1.1 onwards, we will give you a helping hand with price analysis and pricing. Our new price comparison brings the market analysis directly into the JTL-Wawi item window. The immediate view of the current prices of the competition helps you to optimize your listings. This saves you time-consuming research and a lot of time. You can find the price comparison in the General tab in the item details of the new JTL-Wawi 1.1.
You define the basis for the price comparison in the Current own price line in the price comparison window. The menus for selecting the platform and the customer group are available here. Depending on your selection, the price stored in each case is set as the comparison price and used for the calculations.
The comparison price is determined by the selection of platform and customer group. You can change the shipping price manually at any time for comparison calculations.
Price information is retrieved using EAN and ASIN (Amazon)
The respective price queries for the item are ensured on the general marketplaces via the European Article Number (EAN) and on Amazon via the Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN (Amazon)). This ensures the uniqueness of the price query.
JTL-Wawi 1.1 uses the following marketplaces for price comparison, others will follow in the future:
Amazon marketplaces: Amazon.de, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com, Amazon.it, Amazon.es, Amazon.fr.
General marketplaces: Guenstiger.de, Preissuchmaschine.de.
The price comparison in detail
The resulting price comparison table provides you with specific information on the product description (item name), the seller and the platform, as well as a lot of other data relevant to sales and competition.
In particular, the fields Total price (item price + shipping costs) and Difference +/- (your total price – competitor’s total price) provide you with the relevant information for your price positioning. To improve the overview, you can of course sort according to the desired column information. By clicking on a listing line, you can open the competitor’s listing in the browser to view further information.
