What takes a long time finally comes out. In exactly three weeks, on Monday, August 24, 2015, we will release JTL-Wawi 1.0. On the same day, we will also share our new JTL-Connectors for the store systems Shopware 4/5, Magento, Gambio and modified eCommerce Shopsoftware for productive use.
With the JTL-Wawi 1.0 version, we will take a big step forward together. Despite all the joy and relief about what has now been achieved, such a moment also offers a good opportunity to take a brief look back …

We have sensed your dissatisfaction with our update policy. We have learned that a constantly growing bundle of new features does not justify the postponement of urgently awaited updates. Over the past few months, we have sometimes overtaken ourselves and mistakes have been made. We expressly apologize for this. We are convinced that we can do a lot better in the future. For example, through regular update cycles and better communication.
What can you expect with JTL-Wawi 1.0?
Many of you have already visited our release preview for JTL-Wawi 1.0. The latest addition is our new on-board tool “JTL-Shipping”. This allows you to create the desired shipping labels for the respective logistics providers directly from JTL-Wawi. In next week’s blog post, we will introduce you to the fantastic possibilities of JTL-Shipping in more detail.
Just in time for the release, we will publish detailed instructions on how to migrate to JTL-Wawi 1.0. With this guide you will be able to carry out the update independently and safely.
Update to JTL-Shop 3.20 for operation with JTL-Wawi 1.0
For a smooth image synchronization between JTL-Wawi 1.0 and your already running JTL-Shop a shop update will be necessary. We will release this update to store version 3.20 on 17.08.2015. In addition to the changes to the image interface, minor bug fixes and security improvements are included. The operation of JTL-Shop 3.20 with JTL-Wawi 0.99923 is possible without any problems.
And another release: The new JTL-Connectors!
We will also be releasing the first models from our new generation of JTL-Connectors on August 24. Store operators of the Shopware 4/5, Magento, Gambio and modified eCommerce store software systems can then also take advantage of the benefits of JTL-Wawi 1.0.
