Version 1.1 of JTL-Wawi is not the only change in the JTL cosmos in June. From now on, we are giving customers free access to the JTL-Connectors. This means you can connect your third-party provider’s online store software to our ERP at no extra cost. At the same time, support for the connectors is also undergoing changes.
More flexibility with JTL-Connectors
The flexible interfaces offer customers who already work with an online store from another manufacturer the option of connecting it to JTL-Wawi. The ERP is then the inventory management system and users can centrally control numerous store functions there. Stand-alone solutions for centralized inventory management are therefore no longer necessary.
Previously, the JTL-Connectors were only available to customers who had purchased the associated license from us on a fee-based basis. This license package also included email support from our in-house support team.
What exactly is changing? If you own a third-party provider store such as Shopware, OXID or PrestaShop, you can now obtain the corresponding connector from us free of charge. However, we will no longer provide direct support. Instead, our service partners will take on this role in future. They will also help you to adapt the connectors if your store uses other plugins or has other customizations. Free support in the JTL forum will of course remain available to all users. Don’t worry! Previous licensees can of course fall back on JTL contact persons until the expiry of the purchased license.
Further development through JTL
Above all, the end of connector support does not mean that they will be discontinued or ignored by us. Quite the opposite – we are using the resources gained for the further development and updating of the store interfaces. In concrete terms, this means that we ourselves ensure that our connectors are promptly adapted to new store versions from third-party providers.

Our new product page for the JTL-Connectors provides detailed information on the range of functions and contact persons as well as the option to download the solution. There is also a series of video tutorials on the integration of the individual connectors. Magento, Shopware, OXID, PrestaShop, Gambio and Modified are represented.
Update: The support of OXID, Gambio & Modified by JTL was discontinued on 31.12.2022.

Why are we doing this?
Our aim is to make it easier for as many users as possible to get started in professional eCommerce. However, there are numerous online retailers who manage their business without ERP. With the new license model, they now have the opportunity not only to use JTL-Wawi completely free of charge, but also to integrate their online store for free. We think: Good conditions to get your online store off to a flying start.
