The wait is over: After extensive use and testing of the release candidate, we are releasing JTL-Wawi 1.3 as a stable version today. Although version 1.3 is a major release, we have focused primarily on optimizations rather than new features – according to the motto “attention to detail”. In the following you will therefore find, apart from some innovations in JTL-Shipping, a lot of revisions that run through various areas of our ERP.
Payment reconciliation
JTL-Wawi 1.3 brings a whole range of enhancements to the still relatively new payment reconciliation function, which was only introduced in the last version. Encryption has been implemented so that employees or the JTL-Worker can also be used for payment reconciliation. This allows users to store encrypted access data in the database and grant access to selected users without them having to know the password.

We have expanded the range of functions for chargebacks. This is because these can now also be transferred back as a partial payment with an incoming payment. If the customer wants to cancel a paid sales order, this is also possible via the “Cancel with outgoing payment” function. This initiates the return transfer after approval in the payment module.
Anyone who has also missed the sales purpose in the list of payments will also find it there with the new version.

JTL-Shipping (DE)
JTL-Shipping users have reason to rejoice. Because our logistics provider connection now also has a GLS interface. This provides retailers with a new, comprehensive shipping service provider option via JTL-Wawi.

We have also upgraded the Deutsche Post services. As of JTL-Wawi 1.3, the frequently requested PRIO service is part of JTL-Shipping, as is the age verification for book, goods and DVD shipments. If you send books abroad, the integration of the service for international book shipments opens up new possibilities for shipping.
A change that affects all JTL-Shipping users: You now need a free license to use JTL-Shipping. This does not mean that a fee-based license will soon follow. The aim of this change is rather to offer our support team more flexibility and clarity. Until now, it has been difficult to identify and narrow down specific problem cases for support cases in companies with several JTL-Shipping users. For this reason, booking the free license in the Customer Center is mandatory for users of JTL-Wawi 1.3 and higher.

Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime
There have been some changes to the setup and options for Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime. The sample order that was previously required during setup is no longer necessary. As soon as you have activated Seller Fulfilled Prime in Seller Central, this can also be set up in ERP.
In addition, whereas up to 50 shipping methods were previously required, you now only need to define one, but no more than five, shipping methods to cover all possible parcel sizes. In this specific case, it looks like this:
Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime package size XS
Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime package size S
Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime package size M
Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime package size L
Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime package size XL
Amazon transmits the service level (standard, express, 1-day or 2-day premium) to JTL-Wawi, where it is automatically taken into account. The ERP itself uses the recipient address to determine whether international shipping (in zones 1-3) or to Austria is necessary and adjusts this accordingly.

Item management
The item management, which was already heavily revised for version 1.2 of JTL-Wawi, has been further fine-tuned with version 1.3. We have now also integrated many functions that customers have requested in recent months. For example, you can remove selected items from a category, and the filters in the Advanced search are also sorted alphabetically. JTL-Fulfillment Network information is displayed in item management. Numerous other changes in item management can be found in the changelog for the new version (see below).
We have also greatly optimized the performance in order to eliminate the slumps that some customers have experienced.
For JTL-Wawi 1.3, we are also adding the following Amazon filters that have already been announced:
Item is a current listing on Amazon
Item is an FBA listing
Item is a current listing on “Platform”
The individual platforms are amazon.de, .co.uk, .fr, .it, .es, .com and .ca.
Statistics
We have Remanufactured the statistics of our ERP for JTL-Wawi 1.3 to give you a better overview of the key figures for your business. In the new statistics, you can display the tops and flops for each selection. If you want to see an evaluation for items with a sold quantity of 0, you can also view this there.
Of course, you should only trust statistics that you have falsified yourself. Accordingly, we have sharpened the precision so that it only works with the information that you have fed into the ERP. This means that the evaluation is ultimately as correct as your input.

We have extended the assignment of rights for the statistics so that you can now specify which user can evaluate what. And a request that we have received particularly often: It is now possible to carry out the evaluation directly without having to create a special template in the statistics administration.
