Today marks the launch of JTL Repricer 2.0. Our price adjustment tool for Amazon presents itself with numerous new functions, two fresh repricing strategies and a revised pricing model.
JTL-Repricer: What can it do and how does it work?
Those who sell their goods on Amazon usually have one goal: the Buy Box. Because being listed significantly increases your chances of selling. But who has time in everyday life to constantly keep an eye on competitors’ listings, compare and adjust prices in order to increase their chances of winning the Buy Box? We have developed JTL-Repricer to provide you with the best possible support in this task.

Our price adjustment tool JTL-Repricer (for JTL-Wawi) is seamlessly integrated into JTL-Wawi and complements the services of our marketplace connection JTL-eazyAuction. JTL-Repricer monitors your competitors’ Amazon listings for you and automatically adjusts your prices to the competition. This creates the best conditions for you to achieve the highest possible margin for your products at all times.
In JTL-Wawi, you simply define a minimum and maximum price and optionally set it in relation to your purchase price. You always retain full control and still let our price adjustment tool do the work for you.
Take a look at how JTL-Repricer works in our new product video:
The advantages of JTL-Repricer at a glance:
JTL-Repricer 2.0: These are the most important new features
For today’s release of JTL-Repricer 2.0, a dedicated team has been working hard under the hood to bring you our price adjustment tool with completely new technology.
Faster and more direct repricing
The biggest innovation concerns the way in which JTL-Repricer checks prices. Previously, the comparison sometimes took a few hours. With JTL-Repricer 2.0, this works much faster: the price adjustment tool receives information about price changes from your competitors in real time and can react to them directly.
JTL-Repricer’s new algorithm uses this information to try to get your products into the Buy Box – of course without exceeding or falling below your previously set minimum and maximum prices. Another advantage: JTL-Repricer also takes into account the shipping costs of your competitors and automatically calculates the best price for you without shipping, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time calculating.
Two new repricing strategies
With JTL-Repricer 2.0 you have more options for automatic pricing: Decide whether you want to follow the Buy Box strategy or the competitor ASIN (Amazon) strategy and simply let JTL-Repricer do the rest:

Automatic price calculation
Many of you have requested an automatic price calculation feature for JTL-Repricer 2.0, which we have gladly integrated for you: No matter which of the two repricing strategies you choose, from now on JTL-Repricer will automatically calculate the ideal minimum and maximum price using your purchase price. This means you can devote your time to your day-to-day business while our price adjustment tool does the work for you!
Create and reuse templates
You don’t want to make your repricing settings individually for each product? Then use the new option to create templates and apply them to any number of products. As soon as you have saved your details in JTL-Repricer as a template, you can open a new Amazon listing in JTL-Wawi and apply the stored settings with just one click via “Load template”.
Inventory-based repricing
In order to always sell your products with the best possible margin, JTL-Repricer can adjust your minimum and maximum prices depending on the current stock level. This means that if the stock of an absolute top seller is running low, JTL-Repricer automatically adjusts the price upwards in order to maximize the margin.
Conversely, JTL-Repricer supports you in selling off slow-moving items: In order to reduce the current inventory, the tool lowers the minimum and maximum price until the target stock quantity is reached. The new function offers enormous advantages, especially for those of you who use outsourced storage locations: Automated price discounts allow you to increase your inventory turnover in good time before high storage fees become due.
New web UI for more overview and control
With the release of JTL-Repricer you can look forward to a better overview. In JTL-Wawi, we have completely revised the “Marketplace overview” (F10) so that you can see exactly where JTL-Repricer has made price changes. At the same time, you can make numerous adjustments here and directly track the effects they have on your sales.
A real highlight, however, is our new web UI:

Via a link, you can access a web-based dashboard directly from JTL-Wawi for each listing for which you use JTL-Repricer, which provides valuable details about your repricing strategy. Here you will find a lot of important information visually prepared and can call up the repricing history, Buy Box placements, price competitors and much more for any desired period with just one click.
Flexibly (de)activate repricing for national marketplaces
With JTL-Repricer, you are ideally positioned for the price war around the globe. Whether in Europe (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, UK, Netherlands), the USA, Canada, Mexico or Australia – you decide for yourself on which national marketplaces you want to apply automatic pricing. You can easily activate the relevant marketplaces using the check box and change your selection on a monthly basis. This way you remain flexible and retain full control over the marketplaces on which JTL-Repricer is billed each month.

What you can look forward to in the future
With today’s release, our work on JTL-Repricer is of course by no means finished. We are working diligently behind the scenes on further features that will gradually be introduced. A particular priority for us is the implementation of time-controlled repricing. With this function, you will be able to define individual time periods in which JTL Repricer should be active or paused. This will allow you to react optimally to known order peaks.
The new pricing model
For JTL-Repricer 2.0, we have also tweaked the pricing: You can expect a transparent price structure in which your individual inventory size is decisive. While monthly billing was previously incremental, in future there will be fixed price levels based on the average number of your active listings per billing month. All marketplaces on which you use JTL-Repricer will be included in the calculation.
As already mentioned, you can decide for each month on which national marketplaces JTL-Repricer should work for you. This means that you will only ever be charged for the inventories of the marketplaces for which you have actually activated our price adjustment tool.
Are you already using JTL-Repricer?The price change will take effect for you from the billing date in October 2020. Your current tariff will therefore remain in place for one month. If you continue to use JTL-Repricer after October 1, 2020, you will automatically incur the costs according to the new price levels. You can still use the new functions that are available to you from today at the old price until then, so that you can get an impression of the new possibilities.
How to activate JTL-Repricer (no longer possible; JTL-Repricer expired on 30.09.2022)
