Now also track DPD and GLS parcels free of charge

While JTL-Track&Trace for DPD was previously only available as an open beta version, you can now use shipment tracking for DPD and GLS parcels in the stable version from JTL-Wawi 1.6.40.0. And it’s completely free of charge until August 31, 2022!

With JTL-Track&Trace you can generally choose between six price levels, depending on how high your shipping volume is per month. Currently, the tariffs include the tracking of a certain amount of DHL parcels as well as an unlimited number of DPD and GLS shipments. So for the time being, you only pay for your monthly tracked DHL parcels. If you don’t want to track DHL but only DPD and GLS shipments on a trial basis, simply choose our free “Tariff 100”.

From September 1, 2022, your registered DPD and GLS parcels will also be included in the monthly billing of your existing Track&Trace rate.

How to track GLS and DPD parcels

As a JTL-Track&Trace customer, you don’t need to do anything else to be able to track parcels sent with GLS from now on. GLS is now automatically included in the shipment tracking selection alongside DHL. If you are just now deciding on a tariff, simply follow the instructions for setting up JTL-Track&Trace for DHL and GLS in our guide after booking. The only requirement is the use of JTL-Wawi version 1.6.40.0 or higher.

To track DPD parcels you must first complete a registration form in the JTL-Customer Centre for the DPD DATA Service. This gives us permission to retrieve and process status messages about your parcels and make them available to you in JTL-Wawi. After confirmation from DPD you can easily activate tracking in JTL-Wawi.

We explain the necessary steps in the JTL-Guide:

If you are not yet using JTL-Track&Trace, please only book your tariff after DPD has confirmed that your account has been activated for use. If you book the tariff before then, no data can be retrieved from DPD until activation and cannot be displayed retroactively in JTL-Wawi.

Are you ready to track your packages? Then start now with JTL-Track&Trace and use JTL-Wawi 1.6 to ensure that your customers are always informed and satisfied.
