Maintenance work
Update work and restarts of the SQL server (27.01.2026):
- Due to an update of the operating system and subsequent restart, all SQL hosting will be interrupted on Tuesday, 27.01.2026. The SQL server databases will be unavailable for approx. 6 hours.
- The maintenance work will be carried out on Monday, 26.01.2026 from 23:00. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you at what time your SQL server will be processed, so please refrain from making a corresponding request. As soon as the maintenance of an individual SQL server has been completed, we will make a note of this on our JTL status page.
- For organizational reasons, it is not possible to postpone or cancel the maintenance work.
- If you have any questions, please open a ticket with the product selection “JTL-Customer Centre” via your customer center.

Information
Disable unencrypted email log in:
In order to further increase the security of your email communication, we will soon disable the unencrypted login (port 25 / 110 / 143 without SSL/TLS) for sending and receiving emails in JTL hosting.
From this point on, logging in is only possible via encrypted connections (TLS or STARTTLS). This measure reliably protects your access data and your communication from access by third parties.

🔄 Note on the password query
After the changeover, your email program may ask for your password again – even if your previous settings are correct and nothing has changed.
In this case, please re-enter your usual password and save the setup. This is for technical reasons and does not indicate a problem with your account.

The shutdown will take place shortly. Please adjust your email settings in good time to ensure uninterrupted use.
