GRANAR is one of the market leaders in high-quality direct pomegranate juices. When the company was founded in 2012, e-commerce was a top priority for the two founders. still a foreign word.

A summer vacation in southern Europe and a glass of pomegranate juice – and the idea is born! There are hardly any first-class offers in Germany, so we decide to start an online business. Just a few months later, we were selling the first juices on eBay. At the same time, we launch an online store based on Magento with interfaces to eBay and Amazon. Sales via the store are still modest, but orders via the marketplaces are steadily increasing.

Lack of overview and control

We need a merchandise management system that communicates well with the marketplaces and the online store. We want better warehouse and inventory management, the ability to save customer data, print out invoices and delivery bills and manage them centrally, as well as automate shipping preparation as far as possible.

We found what we were looking for with JTL-Wawi – we were impressed by the first test runs. Unfortunately, there was no JTL Magento connector at the time, so we were forced to manually enter the orders from Magento into JTL Wawi – which was annoying and time-consuming. With a growing volume of orders, this can’t go on for long.

Switching brings advantages

We decide to switch to JTL Shop 4 – the advantages are obvious:

  • Very good merchandise management software and seamless communication with the store system
  • Great connection to eBay and Amazon
  • Many time-saving automations

Universal use of JTL-Wawi

What we particularly like: the manual creation of orders. The background to this is our customer structure. A large proportion of our customers are reluctant to shop online – our telephone order hotline provides excellent service here. The customer history can be called up quickly and a new order created within a few seconds. What sounds banal would cause us problems with other store systems. With JTL-Wawi, we offer the service of a professional customer service center.
