With the introduction of the requirement that from January 1st, 2017 all cash register systems in Germany had to meet the regulations for proper accounting, Rock'n Woll was looking for an overall solution that would combine and simplify the processing of online trading that was already underway via the online shop and Amazon channels as well as stationary trading. Upon closer inspection and on the recommendation of an acquaintance, Rocknwoll became aware of JTL and looked for a suitable partner locally via the Internet. After an initial “introductory meeting” and a presentation of the JTL product range, SWNetwork GmbH was able to prevail against a local competitor and define the following topic areas with the customer for a successful introduction of the JTL products: - Installation and introduction of the JTL WaWi as well as connection to the online shop and Amazon platforms - Creating appropriate operating documents (invoices, orders etc…) - Replacement and data transfer of the old online shop (other provider) with a new JTL shop4. The JTL Shop4 should correspond to the standard layout. Minor layout adjustments such as color, logo etc… should be taken into account. - JTL Shipping configuration for connecting DHL Shipping in order to be able to automatically create shipping labels via JTL-WaWi. - Installation and configuration of a cash register system for stationary retail. Due to the partnership between JTL and Luwosoft, a solution from Luwosoft was considered. - General IT support for infrastructure and tool landscape. - Training after successful configuration. The focus in the first phase should be on the introduction of the JTL-WaWi and the development of the cash register system in order to be able to work with the new solution by January 1st, 2017 if possible. Subsequently, the old online shop was replaced and Amazon was connected to JTL-WaWi. During the introductory phase, an optimization of the previous processes and the creation of a sensible structure (articles, etc.) were developed in the JTL-WaWi in collaboration with the customer, including an analysis of the previous processes. The individual use cases were also taken into account when configuring the cash register system and stored accordingly in the system. Last but not least, in phase one, the connection of DHL shipping via JTL shipping was implemented. The cash register system and the JTL-WaWi were already in use at this point. In phase two, the replacement and data migration of the old online shop was prepared and implemented and the connection from Amazon to JTL was managed and configured. At the same time, small inaccuracies resulting from phase one were promptly remedied so that the two systems could run smoothly.
