JTL-Connect 2019: Anniversary edition with more program and larger exhibition space
The eCommerce trade fair expands its listing for visitors once again in its 5th year
Hückelhoven, June 14, 2019 – This year, on August 30, 2019, the eCommerce trade fair JTL-Connect will celebrate its 5th anniversary. For organizer JTL-Software, this is reason enough to once again expand the exhibition space and lecture program in the Mitsubishi Electric Hall in Düsseldorf. With a large portfolio of payment providers, logistics service providers and marketing services, eCommerce professionals and newcomers alike will get a comprehensive overview of the industry. Industry giants such as main sponsor PayPal, Amazon Pay, DHL and Parcel. One will be presenting their services for online business.
Presentations take a look into the future
Initially launched as an in-house trade fair, JTL Connect has evolved into one of Germany’s major eCommerce events over the last five years. In its anniversary year, organizer JTL is also using the trade fair as a platform for many important new products: One highlight is the new point of sale system JTL-POS, which is aimed specifically at retail and multi-channel merchants. The option of linking it to the JTL-Wawi merchandise management system extends the range of functions beyond checkout – offering stationary retailers an entry point for online business.
The software expert will also be highlighting the new business intelligence solution JTL-BI, which the company will be presenting to its customers for the first time. In addition, the plenum can look forward to news from the development of core products such as JTL-Shop 5 or the in-house fulfillment network JTL-FFN.
The wide range of partners and exhibitors complements this core of the event: PayPal will present its financing options for retailers, while Amazon Pay will provide tips on checkout optimization. Logistics expert Parcel. One will be providing practical tips for international trade, while Taxdoo will be focusing on the latest innovations in the tax segment.
Exhibition stands invite you to test software
But at JTL-Connect, visitors should not only listen, but above all actively test new products and features themselves. To this end, the JTL-WMS demo warehouse, which has doubled in size this year, will open its doors. Here, the approximately 1,500 expected visitors will be able to see the benefits of efficient warehouse management for themselves by packing and sending their own parcels.
At the same time, the large JTL-POS stand area also invites visitors to test the software extensively. In addition to the software itself, visitors can get to know the diverse connection options to the products of JTL’s hardware partners.
The organizer is also consistently implementing this focus on the experience factor elsewhere. With the new product towers within the hall, trade fair visitors will find clearly visible contact points for products, the associated theme worlds and exhibitors.
Focus on networking again in 2019
The lecture program with more than 30 speakers from a wide range of industries and around 80 exhibitors guarantees visitors a wide range of inspiration for their own business. Formats such as developer speed dating or the specially set up café with barista service also allow for an informal exchange and the establishment of new contacts.
JTL Managing Director Thomas Lisson is already looking forward to the anniversary of JTL Connect: “For my employees and me, the trade fair is always a day full of stimulating conversations and nice encounters. It makes us proud to see that visitors who came last year as interested parties are now among our regular customers.”
